In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (2) of Sec- tion 241 of the Government of India Act , 1935 , as adapted by the India (Provi- sional Constitution) Order 1947 , the Governor General is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made to the Schedule in the Civilians in Defence Services (Revision of Pay) Rules 1947 , namely : -
In the Schedule annexed to the said rules under the head " D.O.S. , D.T.D. , D.M.E. "
Against the entry "Civilian Workshop Supervisor I " , under the column for prescribed scale . For the entry " Existing scale to continue till personnel waste out" .
Substitute " Supervisor Technical Grade I 260-15-350 " .
Against the entry " Civilian Workshop Supervisor II " , under the column for prescribed scale . For the entry " Existing Scale to continue till personnel waste out" .

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Delhi Water Supply ( Emergency Provisions ) Ordinance 1949 ( No. VII of 1949) the Central Government is pleased to appoint the Chief Commissioner, Delhi , as the " Competent authority " for the purposes of the said ordinance .
