NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 14th June 1940
No. N- 25 / 49. - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Essential Supplies ( Temporary Powers ) Act , 1946 ( XXIV of 1946 ) , the Central Government is pleased to cancel the following with effect from the 14th June, 1949 , namely :-
I. The Newsprint Control ( No. 2 ) Order , 1947, published with the notifica . tion of the Government of India in the late Department of Industries and Supplies No. N - 8 ( 1) C / 47 , dated the 3rd April , 1947 as amended from time to time; and
II. The Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry and Supply No. N- 19 (1 ) C / 47 . dated the 14th May , 1948 ,fixing the maximum selling prices of newsprint .
