NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th July , 1949
No. 3986-01/ 49.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Post Office National Savings Certificates Ordnance , 1944 (XLII of 1944 ) , the Central Government is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be inade in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Communications ) No. 1978 ( R) -CI/ 18 dated the 21st May , 1948 , namely In the said notification ( 1 ) in clause ( a) , after the letters and figures " Rs 10 " the following letters and figures ' Rs . 50 " , shall be inserted .
(2 ) in clause ( c) , ( i) under the he wling " (1 ) For the 5- vear Certificates " after the column relating to Rs 10 the following column shall be inserted , namely:-
