Delhi , the 27th July , 1949
No. F. 17 ( 13 ) /49-H.P.W.-lo exercise of the powers conferredby section 3 of the Essential Supplies ( Temporary Powers ) Act, 1946 road with Govorn- ment of India , Ministry of Transport Notification No. 6 - PR ( 2 ) / 47 , dated the 13th September 1947 , the Chief Commissioner is pleasedto order as follows: -
1. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Motor Spirit Rationing Order , 1941 , ordinary coupons issued by the Area Rationing Authority , Delhi , for private cars and motor cycles for the quarter July- September 1949 will cease to be valid after the 31st July 1949 unless they are countersigned by one of the officers mentioned in the schedule hereto .
2. Ordinary coupons for private cors and motor cycles issued by other provinces for the current quarter will also not be valid in Delhi after the 31st July 1949 unless they are countersigned by a competent authority of the province concerned .
