NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 1st August 1949
No. 178- P . WHEREAS the Central Government has full and exclusive extra- provincial jurisdiction for , and in relation to , the governance of the State of Tehri - Garhwal ;
NOW , THEREFORE , in exercise of the powers confcired by sub- section (2) of section 3 of the Extra - Provincial Jurisdiction Act , 1947 (XLVII of 1947) and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf , the Central Government is pleased to delegate to the l'rovincial Government of the United Provinces , the extra -provincial jurisdiction aforesaid , including the power conferred by section 4 of the said Act to make orders for the exercise of that jurisdiction ;
Provided that
(1) the exercise of the jurisdiction hereby delerated shall be subject to the control of the Central Government ; and
(2) the delegation shall not preclude the C'ential (Government from exer- cising the jurisdiction hereby delegated .

In pursuance of the notification of the Government of Indian the late Department of Commerce No. 23 - ITC / 43 , dated the 1st July 1943. as continued in force by the Imports and Exports ( Control) Act , 1947 (XVIII of 1947) , the Central Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Open General Licence No. X. published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of

In the preamble to the said Open General Licence
for the words
any goods of a description specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification , excluding those goods described in Serial No. 2 of Part III of the Baid Schedule , namely , Cotton Raw, and also excluding those goods described in Serial No. 98 of Part IV of the Schedule , namely , Salt' י
The following shall be substituted , namely :-

No. 15 - ITC/49.-In pursuance of the notification of the Government of India n the late Department of Commerce No: 23 - ITC / 48 , dated the 1st July 1948, as continued in force by the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 (XVIII of 1947) , the Central Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Open General Licence No. XIV , published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Cominerce No. 15 - ITO/ 48 , dated the 22nd October 1948 , as subsequently amended , and that this amendment be published for general information
