No. 86/E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (2) of Sec- tion 241 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted by the India (Provi- sional Constitution) Order 1947, the Governor General in pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made to the Schedule in the Civilians in Defence Services (Revision of Pay) Rules 1947, namely ,—

In the Notn. No 1429, dated 21st Aug. 1948;

For the heading "Headquarters Commands"

Substitute "Headquarters, Formations, Station Staff Officers, Record Offices and Units".
