No. II ( 55 - E ) 49N - 2.-In exorcise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Influx from Pakistan ( Control ) Act , 1949 (XXIII of 1949) , the Central Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Permit System Rules , 1949 , namely : -
In the said Rules-
(1) In rule 4, the words and letter " except for application in form D " shall be omitted .
(2 ) After rule 15 , the following rule shall be inserted , namely: -
" 15 - A . The period of a permit for repcated journeys shall not exceed three months at a time . "
