No 50.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Export Duties ( Emergency Provisions ) Ordinance , 1949 ( Ordinance XXV of 1940 ) the (' entral Government is pleased to direct that with effect from the 22nd September , 1919 , there shall be levied and collected the following duties of customs on the articles hercinafter mentioned when oxported from the Provinces of India , namely :-

Iron or Steel other than sheets , the following :
45 % ad valorem .
Pig iron ; ingots ; blooms ; billets ; tin Dars ; shoot bars and slabs ; steel castings ; heavy structurals ( including heavy sections of joists , channels and anglos ) ; light structurals ( including light sections of joists , channels , angles , tees and light rails of 30 lbs and undor ) ; tyres , wheols and asles shell steel ingote , bloome , billets and bars ; heavy rails ( over 30 lbs . ) ; fish plates ; dog - spikes ; chair- spikes ; screw- spikes , timplate , ternoplate ; plates ( shipbuilding ) ; plates ( ordinary mild steel and tensile ) ; plates ( bullet proof ) ; bars ( including flats , squares , rounde , hexagons and rods ) ; bolts ( including fish bolts ) , nuts and rivets ; black or galvanised wire , whother plain or barbod ; wire nails ; wiro ( miscollaneous ) ; hoops and strips ; spring stoel in any unfabricated or semi - febri- cated form; tool steel in any unfabricated or semi - fabricated forın; steel pressure pipos , tubes and Ottings , coated or uncoated , excluding electrical conduit pipes; cast iron pressure pipos and epecials; pressure pipos made of any substanco reinforced with iron or steel ; and wire ropes .
Iron or Steel , black sheets and galvanized sheets ( plain and corrugated ) 30 % ad valorem .
