11.30AM of No. 31 - ITO /49 .-In pursuance of the Notification of the Governman India in the late Department of Commerce No. 23 - ITC/ 43 , dated the St Fuly 1948, as continued in force by the Imports and Exports (Control) Act , 1947 (XVILI of 1947 ) , the Central Government is pleasedto direct that the following amendment shall be made in the Open General Licence No. XVI , published with the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. 26 - ITC/ 49 , dated the 25th August 1949 , namely: -
In the Schedule annexed to the said Open General Licence , in column 1 against entries relating to Serial No. 5( 1 ) of Part III , the words " Healds " and " Reeds shall be omitted
2. The amendment made by this notification shall not affect any Healds and Reeds which were covered by the said Open General Licence No. XVI and which have been despatched on through consignment to India on or before the 81st October 1949 .
