In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- Section ( 2) of Section 241 of the Government of India Act , 1935 , as adapted by the India (Provisional Constitution) Order 1947 , the Governor General is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be madeto the Schedule in the Civilians in Defence Services (Revision of Pay) Rules 1947 , namely: -

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - Section ( 2) of Section 241 of the Government of India Act , 1935 , as adapted by the India (Provisional Constitution ) Order 1947 , the Governor General is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made to the Schedule in the Civilians in Defence Services (Revision of Pay) Rules 1947 , namely :-
In the said Schedule under the heading ' Naval Headquarters
( i ) Under the sub - head ' Naval Armament Supply Deptt . ' as inserted by Min. of Def . Notn . No. 1882 , dated 14th Aug. 1948 , clause (c) , against " Assistant Armament Supply Officer " under the column Existing Scale , insert the following entry : -
"Rs . 800-340-20-500 " .
(ii) In Min of Def . Notn . No 104 / E , dated 16th Aug 1949-
(a) In clause (V) for sub - head " Naval Armament Supply Depot " substitute Naval Armament Supply Deptt . "
(b) Under Sub -head " Naval Armament Stores Section in lause ( ) " delete the following :-
" Store - keeper & connected entries " .
(c) Under " Miscellaneous Categories " , against ' Assistant Cashier ' under Prescribed Scale for existing entry substitute the following:-
