No. 309 ( 17 ) -Tea/ 49.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 11 of the Cent a ! Tea Board Act , 1949 ( XIII of 1949 ) , the Central Government is pleased to notify , after consulting the Central Tea Board , that the rate of Cers to be levied and collected on all tea exported outside India shall be Rupee one and annas ten per hundred pounds
Explanation -For the purpose of this notification the word ' Cess' means the customs duty imposed under Section 11 of the Central Tea Board Act , 1949 (XIII of 1949) .
