No. 1.1 ( 138) /48-L.S.G .- Notice from Special Land Acquisition Colleator, Delhi , under section 4 of the Resettlement of Displaced Persons (Land Acquisi- tion) Act, 1948 to Mst . Badami wd/ o Wazir Gujar , of Rampura , Post Office Eadli , Delhi (Province ) Owner /Occupier .
The land described below is required for the resettlement of Displaced Persons and this has already been notified under Section 8 of the said Act in the extraordinary issue dated 28th February 1949 of the Government of India Gazette , vide Chief Commissioner's Notification No. F.1 ( 186)/48-L.S.G. (I) , dated the 20th February 1949. Notice under Section 8 (2) of the said Act has also been issued and contains the substance of the said Notification stating that possession of the land will be taken on the seventh day after the date of publication of the said Notification . You as owner/ ocoupier of the said land are hereby informed that action to take over the land on the seventh day will be taken.

New Delhi , the 12th November 1949
No. 34- Ι.Τ.Ο . / 49 .--The following Open General Licence issued by the Central Government under the Notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce , No. 23 / ITC /48 , dated the 1st July 1943, R8 continued in force by the Import and Exports (Control) Act , 1947 ( XVIII of 1947) is published for general information :-
IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
Open General Licence No. XVII
In pursuance of the Notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce , No 23 - TTC / 49 , dated the 1st July 1948 as continued in force by the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 (XVIII of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby gives general permission to all persons to import from Afghanistan , Aden and Dependencies , Burma , Bahrein Islands , Ceylon , Iraq, Iran, Java , Kuwait , Kenya Colony , Muscat Territory , Native States in Arabia, Strait Settlements , Sumatra , Tanganyka Territory , and Trucial Oman , kides and skins raw or salted specified in Item 144 of Part IV of the schedule annexed to the said Notification:
Provided that ( 1) such goods have been produced and manufactured in any of the aforesaid countries ; (2) such goods are shipped or despatched on or before the 81st December 1949 from the aforesaid countries and (3 ) Nothing in this licence shall affect the application to any goods of any prohibition or regulation affecting the import thereof in force at the time when such goods are imported .
