NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 28rd November 1949
No. 394. In exercise of the Powers conferred by clause 4 of the Colliery Control Order , 1945 , as continued in force by sec . 17 of the Essential Supplies (Temporary Powers) Act , 1946 ( XXIV of 1946 ) , the Central Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Industries and Supplies No. 19 , dated the 9th January , 1946 , namely:-
1 In the said notification in the table set forth under item " I - Collieries in Bengal and Bihar ( a) Coal for the entries against Selected Grade A , Selected Grade B , Grade I and Grade II the following ontries shall be substituted , namely: --

14-0-0 2. In the said notification under the said iton 1, (b ) Coke, for the entries against Soft Coke- not exceeding 45 per cent . , ash content " the following entry shall be substituted , namely ,
Rs . 21-12-0 " .
" Soft Coke-not exceeding 45 per cent . ash content
3. In the said notification items II and III " Collieries in Baluchistan" and "Collieries in the Punjab " shall be deleted .
