IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT : -Amendment in Annexure III of Appendix 23 to the current Import Trade Control Red- Book ( Import of " Real or cultured pearls unset " against export of " Drilled , processed and polished pearls ( real or cultur- ed) either loose or set in jewellery " and import of " precious stones , unset and imported uncut excluding diamonds in all forms " against export of " Cut and polished precious stones or jewellery set with pre- cious stones " ) .
No. 98 - ITC ( PN ) /62.-Attention is invited to the entries shown against S. Nos . 5 and 7 of Annexure III of Appendix 23 to the current Red-Book .
2. It has been decided that the existing entries in column 6 against S. Nos . 5 and 7 of Annexure III may be amended from " 14" to " 1-3 / 5 " .
SUBJECT : -Application fees for Import Licences-Crediting of-Head of Account .
No. 99 - ITC ( PN ) / 62 .--Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 47 - ITC ( PN ) /62 , dated the 5th May 1962 whereby application fees for import licences are to be pald from 1st April 19621962 to any Government Treasury or Office of the State Bank of India or the Reserve Bank of India for credit to the Central Government under the revised major head of Account " XXXII - Miscellaneous Social and Develop- mental Organisation. " This is applicable to all the States under the Indian territory except the State of Pondicherry . The application fees in respect of the State of Pondicherry credited under head " XLVI - Miscellaneuos " has now consequently been Teclassified and the fees be credited to the revised major head " LII - Miscellaneous " with effect from 1st April 1962 .
2. Para 8 of Section I of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the year April 1962 -March 1963 may be deemed to be modified accordingly .
