IMPORT TRADE CONTROL ,
New Delhi, the 24th August 1962
SUBJECT : -Import of coal tar dyes , textile chemicals , etc., against export of textiles , etc. , under Export Promotion Schemes .
No. 105 ITC ( PN ) /62.-Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 67 - ITC ( PN ) / 62 , dated 11th June , 1962 and No. 72 - ITC ( PN ) / 62 , dated the 22nd June , 1962 , accord- ing to which import of Sodium Perborate and Hydrosulphite of Soda has been banned against Export Promotion Licences under the Cotton Textiles Export Incentive Scheme .
2. It has now been decided that the import of Sodium Perborate and Hydro- sulphite of Soda will also not be permitted under any other Export Promotion Scheme e.g. Export Promotion Scheme , for Woollen Goods and Art Silk Fabrics .
SUBJECT : -Registration under the Export Promotion Scheme .
No. 106 ITC ( PN ) /62.-Attention is invited to para ( C ) of C. Scheme No. ( 3 ) of Appendix 23 to the current Red- Book .
This para beginning from " Once a firm. be substituted as below:- ..to deregister the firm " may
"Once a firm has been registered with the registering authority for a parti- cular export commodity , the registration will remain in force, unless the name of the firm is struck off for some reason or other. If a firm has , after registration not applied for a licence for a continuous period of 18 months or if there is an interval of more than 18 months between any two applications for licences , the registering authority will initiate action to de - register the firm . "
