New Delhi , the 5th November 1962
S.O. 3340.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 83 of the Mines Act , 1952 ( 35 of 1952 ) , the Central Government hereby exempts , until the 30th November , 1962 , coal mines from the operation of the provisions of section 28 of the said Act .
