NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th November 1962
G.S.R. 1503.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) read with sub - section ( 2 ) of section 4 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1961 ( 23 of 1961 ) , the Central Government hereby declares the issue No. 39 , dated the 28th September, 1962, of the periodical entitled " Peking Review" ," , published by Peking Review Pai Wan Chuang , Peking ( 37 ) , China and printed in the People's Repub- lic of China , and every copy of the said issue and all other documents containing coples , reprints and translations of, or extracts from , the said issue to be forfeited to the Government on the ground that an article entitled " New Delhi's Latest Dangerous Move" by Chou Chun - Li and the sketch map illustrating the said article contained in the said issue , the publication of which is punishable under section 2 of the said Act , question the territorial integrity inca manner which is likely to be integrity and frontiers of India to be prejudicial to the interests of the safety and security of India by reason of the allegation in the article that the McMahon Line is entirely illegal and that India has occupied Chinese territory and that it is determined to occupy more and more Chinese territory and by reason of the depiction in the sketch map that practically the whole of N.E.F.A. is Chinese territory occupied by Indian troops .
