PUBLIC NOTICE
IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 9th November , 1962
SUBJECT : -Establishment of the Office of the Controller of Imports & Exports , Bangalore.
No. 159 - ITO ( PN ) / 62. It has been decided by the Government of India to open a Trade Control Office at Bangalore under the charge of a Controller of Imports & Exports . This Office will be under the administrative control of the Joint Chief Controller of Imports and Exports , Madras and will start functioning with effect from the 10th November , 1962 .
2. The Trade Control Office at Bangalore will have jurisdiction over the whole of Mysore State except Mangalore District of that State , which will continue to be within the licensing jurisdiction of the Office of the Deputy Chief Controller of Imports & Exports , Ernakulam .
3. The types of cases / applications which will be dealt with by the Bangalore Office during the remaining part of April 1962 - March 1963 period will be notified by the Joint Chief Controller of Imports & Exports , Madras .
4. Para 6 of Section I of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the year April 1962 - March 1963 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly .
