PUBLIC NOTICE
IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 5th January 1963
SUBJECT : -Export of Vanaspati / Hydrogenated Oil, Refined Vegetable Oils (including Salad Oil ) and Groundnut Oil .
No 1 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 .-Attention is invited to the Public Notice No. 160 - ITC ( PN ) / 62, dated the 26th November , 1962 issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry , New Delhi on the above subject .
2. The following new para may be added as para 2 ( C) in the Public Notice No. 160 - ITC ( PN ) / 62, dated 26th November , 1962 : -
2- C : De - oiled Cakes :
Solvent extraction plants which are directly exporting de - oiled cakes or selling de - oiled cakes for exports will be eligible to obtain import licences for spare parts , components , machinery , equipment and tools required for the maintenance of their plants as may be approved by the Department of Technical Development upto the extent of 1 per cent of the f.o.b. value of their exports of de - oiled cakes either directly exported by them or through exporters . This will apply to all exports of de- oiled cakes on or after 1st January , 1963. Out of this entitlement every solvent extraction factory may utilise upto Rs . 6,000/- per year for import of bleaching earth not indigenously manufactured and as may be approved by the Department of Technical Development .
3. The Public Notice No. 160 - ITC ( PN ) / 62, dated 26th November , 1962 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
