PUBLIC NOTICE
New Delhi , the 24th January , 1963
SUBJECT . Issue of licences for export of goods from the Office of the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports , New Delhi .
No. 2/63 . The trade is aware that the Export Trade Control authorities at the ports are at present issuing licences or making licensing endorsements on shipping bills for export of various goods . In the case of export of certain items e.g. , Lamb fur Skins, Wild Life ( dead or alive or part thereof or produce therefrom ) , Air crafts and spare parts thereof , Kukries , Pulses and Rice etc. , exported by Air from Delhi , licences are issued by the Office of the Chief Con- troller of Imports and Exports , New Delhi .
2. It has now been decided to decentralise the licensing work at the Head- quarters and to authorise the Dy . Chief Controller of Imports and Exports ( Cen- tral Licensing Area ) , Janpath Barracks , New Delhi , to issue licences / permits in respect of Baggage, Gift Parcels and items like Lamb fur skins , Wild life ( dead or alive or part thereof or produce therefrom ) , Air Crafts and spare parts there- of, Kukries , pulses and Rice ( Canalised through State Trading Corporation ) . This decision will take effect from the 15th February , 1963 .
are, 3. Intending exporters who desire to export by Air from Delhi the items mentioned above which have now been transferred to the jurisdication of Dy. Chief Controller of Imports and Exports , ( Central Licensing Area ) therefore , advised to submit their applications in the prescribed form and manner direct to the office of the Dy. Chief Controller of Imports and Exports ( Central Licensing Area ) , Janpath Barracks , New Delhi with effect from the above date . Exporters , other than those specified above , are required to submit their applica- tions to the respective Port Offices .
