NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 23rd January 1963

S.O. 248.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 1960, published with the Ministry of Finance Notification No. F. 12(l)-Est(Spl)/59 dated the 2nd August, 1960, namely:—

(i) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) First Amendment Rules, 1963.

(ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of July, 1959.

2. In the Schedule to the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 1960, in Part 'B'

(1) In Part B, in Section 1—Secretariat, under the heading Posts Common to Secretariat Offices, under the sub-heading, "(ii) Class II posts",

(A) for the existing entry in column 4 against serial number 8, the following shall be subs- tituted, namely :—

(B) for the existing entry in column 4 against serial number 9, the following shall be substituted, namely :—
