ORDER
New Delhi , the 31st January 1963
S.O. 319 / ECA/ 3 / 63 . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Essential Commodites Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the said Act to make orders under clauses ( c ) , ( d ) , ( e ) , ( f ) , ( h ) and ( j ) of sub - section ( 2 ) of that section shall , in relation to cement , be exercisable also by the Chief Commissioner of Delhi , subject to the conditions that :-
( 1 ) no order shall be made by the Chief Commissioner of Delhi without the prior approval of the Central Government;
( ii ) no order made by the Chief Commissioner of Delhi in exercise of the aforesaid powers shall have effect in so far as it is repugnant to any order made under the said sub - section by the Central Govern- ment .
