NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 8th February 1963
G.S.R. 274. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Defence of India Act , 1962 ( 51 of 1962 ) , the Central Governinent hereby makes the follow- ing further amendment in the Defence of India Rules , 1962 , namely :-
1. Short title . These Rules may be called the Defence of India ( Fourth Amend- ment ) Rules , 1963 .
2. Amendment of rule 126 I. In the Derence of India Rules , 1962 , in rule 126 I,-
(a) in sub - rule ( 1 ) , after the words " cominencement of this Part " , the words " or within such further pered as the Central Government may by notification specify , " shall be inserted ;
(b) in sub - rule ( 5 ) , for the words " the period of thirty days from the commencement of this Part " , the words , brackets and figure " the period within which ine declaration referred to in sub - rule ( 1 ) required to be made , " shall be substituted.
