G.S.R. 362. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Pondi- cherry ( Administration ) Act , 1962 ( 49 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby extends to the Union territory of Pondicherry the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931 , ( 16 of 1931 ) .
