NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th March 1963
G.S.R. 427. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rules ( 2 ) and ( 3 ) of rule 125 of the Defence of India Rules . 1962 , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order to amend the Essential Articles ( Price Control ) Order , 1963 , namely,-
1. This Order may be called the Essential Articles ( Price Control ) Amendment Order, 1963 .
2. In the Essential Articles ( Price Control ) Order , 1963 , for paragraph 3 , the following paragraph shall be substituted , namely:-
3. " Fixation of maxinum price . No wholesale dealer or retail dealer , as the case may be , shall sell any essential article to any person at a price which is in excess of the aggregate of the following , namely: - (a) the past price of such essential article , and
(b) the amount specified against that article in the corresponding entry in column 2 of the aforesaid Schedule ."
