NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi , the 8th March 1963
SO . 629. Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri Hirabhai Kunberbhal Baria , elected to that House from the Dohad Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Gujarat ;
Now , therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of section 149 of the Repre- sentation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 20th April , 1963 , in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder , a person belonging to the Scheduled Tribes of Gujarat to fill the vacancy so caused.

S.O. 630. In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby appoints with respect to the bye - election to be held in the Dohad Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Gujarat in pursuance of its notification No. 100/ GJ / IIP/ 1 / 63 ( 1 ) , dated the 8th March , 1963 ,
( a) the 15th March , 1963 , as the last date for making nominations ;
(b ) the 18th March , 1963 , as the date for the scrutiny of nominations ;
(c) the 21st March , 1963 , as the last date for the withdrawal of candi- datures ;
(d) the 14th April , 1963 , as the date on which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken ; and
(e) the 20th April , 1963 , as the date before which the election shall be completed

SO . 631. In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8-00 A.M. 10 5-00 P.M as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary , be takea for the cicetion to the House of People from the Dohad Constituency , to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / GJ / HP / 1 / 63 ( 1 ) , dated the 8th March , 1963 .
