NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 8th March 1963
G.S.R. 431. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of sec- tion 11 of the Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act , 1952 ( 58 of 1952 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Min- isters ' ( Allowances , Medical Treatment and Other Privileges ) Rules , 1957 , namely:-
1. These rules may be called the Ministers ' ( Allowances , Medical Treatment and Other Privileges ) Amendment Rules , 1963 .
2. In the Ministers' ( Allowances , Medical Treatment and Other Privileges ) Rules , 1957 , in sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 3,--
(1 ) the words and figures " to the Minister of Defence Organisation with effect from the 1st June , 1953 , " shall b . omitted ;
(2) for the portion beginning with the words " to the Minister of Commu- nity Development " and ending with " Rs . 250 / - per mensem , " the fol- lowing shall be substituted, namely :-
"to the Minister of Community Development and Cooperation with effect from the 16th February , 1963 , and to the Minister of Works , Hous- ing and Rehabilitation with effect from the afternoon of the 15th November , 1962 , a sumptuary allowance of Rs . 250 / - per mensem . "
