IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 21st March , 1963
SUBJECT : Import of Dyes and Chemicals , Gums etc. against exports of hand printed cloth .
No. 22 - ITC ( PN ) /68.-Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 83 - ITC ( PN ) / 61 , dated the 6th July, 1961 on the above subject .
2. It has been decided that with immediate effect for the existing condition No. ( iv) regarding sale of dyes , chemicals etc. to registered hand printers of handloom cloth the following may be substituted : -
"Dyes , Chemicals etc. imported under this Scheme may be sold only to units in the textile industry requiring these items-- whether such unit is a manufacturer or processor of textiles ( cotton , wool or artsilk) " .
