ORDER
New Delhi , the 22nd March , 1963
G.S.R. 512.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Rice ( Uttar Pradesh ) Second Price Control Order , 1962 , namely : -
1. This Order may be called the Rice ( Uttar Pradesh ) Second Price Control (Second Amendment ) Order , 1963 .
2. In Schedule I to the Rice ( Uttar Pradesh ) Second Price Control Order , 1962 ,-
(1) the brackets and letter " ( a) " shall be omitted;
(2) after item 30 and the entry relating thereto, the following items and entries shall be inserted , namely :-
" 31. Basti
32. Gorakhpur . " ;
(3) item (b) and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted .
Clarificatory Note . The following is a clarificatory note and does not form part of this Order .
The provisions of the Rice ( Uttar Pradesh ) Second Price Control Order , 1962 , have now been made applicable to the whole of the districts of Basti and Gorakh- pur instead of the Trans - Rapti and the Trans - Rohin areas of those districts only as was the case hitherto .
