New Delhi , the 29th March 1963
G.S.R. 570. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts methyl acrylate polymer , when imported into India , from so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specifled in the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) , as is in excess of 25 per cent ad valorem.
