IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 15th April 1963
SUBJECT .- Export Promotion Scheme for Art Silk Fabrics .
No. 30 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 .-Attention is invited to para 2 ( d) of Annexure VIII to Appendix 23 of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the period April , 1962- March 1963 , according to which imported art silk yarn was to be utilised by the licence- holder for his own use .
2. It has now been decided to substitute the above sub - paragraph by the following : -
"(d) It will be permissible for the manufacturer- exporters of art silk fabrics to sell imported as well as indigenous art silk yarn obtained by them under the Art Silk Export Promotion Scheme to any unit / units consuming art silk yarn . "
3. This amendment will take effect from 22nd December , 1962 and all sales of Imported as well as indigenous art silk yarn obtained under the Scheme will be governed by the above amendment .
