NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi , the 13th May 1963
G.S.R. 814.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2) of section 1 of the Government of Union Territories Act , 1963 ( 20 of 1963 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 13th day of May , 1963 , as the date on which the provisions of Part I, sections 3 , 4 and 14 in Part II , Part III and sections 53 , 56 and 57in Part V of the said Act and the First and Second Schedules thereto shall , so far as they are applicable , come into force in the Union territory of Goa , Daman and Diu .

G.S.R. 815.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 1 of the Government of Union Territories Act , 1963 ( 20 of 1963 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 13th day of May , 1963 , as the date on which the provisions of Part I, and sections 53 , 56 and 57 in Part V of the said Act and the Second Schedule thereto shall , so far as they are applicable , come into force in the Union territory of Pondicherry .
