ORDER
New Delhi, the 18th May 1963
G.S.R. 858.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Rice (Punjab) Price Control Order, 1982. namely :—
1 This Order may be called the Rice (Punjab) Price Control (Third Amend- ment) Order, 1963.
2. In the Rice (Punjab) Price Control Order, 1962—
(i) in sub-clause (2)(c) of clause 2, for the figures and words "Rs 1.56 per quintal", the figures and words "Rs. 1 -51 per quintal" shall be substi- tuted;
(ii) in the Schedule, for the table of prices, the following table shall be substituted, namely:—

Clarificatory Note The following is a clarificatory note and does not form part of this Order.
The maximum controlled prices applicable for sale of bagged rice in wholesale quantities as defined in the Rice (Punjab) Price Control Order, 1962, have been reduced by 5 nP. per quintal for B. Twill packing.
