NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 28th May 1963
G.S.R. 891.-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 10 of the Sugar (Control) Order , 1963 , the Central Government hereby authorises the officers men- tloned in column 1 below to exercise the powers conferred by clause 10 of the said Order, within the areas mentioned respectively against their names in column 2, namely:-

jurisdiction .
( i) all District Magistrates , Deputy Com- the missioners and Collectors of the districts
in the States ;

(ii) the Chief Commissioner , Pondicherry , the Chief Commissioner , Andaman and Nicobar Islands ;
Do.
(iii ) Administrator , Laccadive , Mincoy and Amindivi Islands , Adviser to the Go- vernor of Assam for North East Fron- tier Agency , Commissioner , Naga Hills Tuensang Area ;
Do.
(iv) Chief Secretaries and Directors of Civil Supplies of other Union Territories ; and
(v) the Controller of Sugar, West Bengal . The areas described in Schedule I to the Calcutta Municipal Act, 1951 ( West Bengal Act XXXIII of 1951 ) , as amended by notification issued under section 594 of that Act: that Part of Hastings north of south edge of Clyde Row and Strand Road to the river bank and the area within the limits of the Port of Calcutta defined by notification under section 5 ofthe Indian Ports Act , 1908 (XV of 1908 ) , as
