NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 31st May 1963
G.S.R. 951. Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that it is necessary το issue this notification in the public interest ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 5 ) of section 8 of the Central Sales Tax Act , 1956 ( 74 of 1956 ) , the Central Government hereby makes , with effect from the 1st June 1963 , the following amendment in the notifica- tions of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs No GS.R. 364 [F. 22/26 / 59 - Judl.II ( 1 ) ] and G.S.R. 365 [ F. 20 /12 / 59 - J.II ] dated the 25th March 1960 and No. G.S.R. 1816 [ F. 18 / 5 / 62 - Judl.II ] dated the 31st December 1962 , namely:-
Ineach of the said notifications , for the words " four per cent" , the words " five per cent" shall be substituted .

ERRATUM
In Ministry of Finance , ( Department of Revenue ) , Customs , Notification No. 115, dated 21st April , 1963 , published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary , Part II Section 3 ( 1 ) , dated 21st April, 1963 as G.S.R. 683 , the following correction is to be made : -
Page 363 , in the entry in Col. 3 , against serial No 2 , in the Table annexed to the notification-
for "Bulbs with safety mining lamps " read " Bulbs for safety mining lamps " .
