IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT :-Import of ( i ) ' Fruits ' all sorts , excluding coconuts and cashewnuts , fresh , dried salted or preserved , no.s. and excluding Dates ( S. No. 21 ( α ) / IV ) , ( ii ) Asafoetida ( S. No. 31 / V ) ( iii ) Cumin seeds and ( iv ) Medicinal herbs from Afghanistan .
No. 54 ITC ( PN ) / 63 .- Attention of the importers is invited to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Public Notice No. 47 - ITC ( PN) / 63 dated the 18th May 1963 whereby importers of dry fruits etc. from Afghanistan were advised not to enter into any further contracts until further notice . It has been decided to suspend forthwith the issue of all Customs Clearance Permits for dry fruits etc , from Afghanistan .
