IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT . Import of Raw materials / components and spare parts against A. U. licences granted to industries in the scheduled and non - scheduled sectors including small scale industries .
No. 63 - ITC ( PN) /63.-Attention of the importers is invited to Ministry of Commerce & Industry Public Notice No. 55 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 , dated 5th June , 1963 , issued on the above subject giving certain clarifications in respect of the provisions made in Ministry of Commerce & Industry Public Notice No. 19 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 dated 18th March , 1963 .
2. It has now been decided that the provisions made in Ministry of Commerce & Industry Public Notice No. 19 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 dated 18th March , 1963 , will also be applicable to all valid A. U. licences granted for import of raw materials /com- ponents against the West German Credit .
SUBJECT . Import of Hides and Skins under the Export Promotion Scheme .
No. 64 - ITC ( PN ) /63.-Attention is invited to Appendix 23 , Annexure I, Part I of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the year April 1963 - March , 1964 .
2. It has been decided that against the existing entry at Sl . No. 14 of Part I- Annexure I to Appendix 23 of the current Import Trade Control Policy Book , the following may be substituted : --

Hides & Skins , raw or salted; pickled hides , skins , butts , splits and chrome splits ; synthetic tanning agents , preservatives etc. , and specified metal fittings , sperm oil , etc.
3. The entry at Sl . No. 9 of Part II of Annexure I of Appendix 23 may be deleted .
4. The above amendments will take effect from the 1st June , 1963 .
