NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 26th June 1963
S.R.O. 3 - E. -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 2 of the Armed Forces ( Emergency Duties ) Act , 1947 ( 15 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby declares the following services to be services ofices of vital import- ance to the community , namely:-
( 1 ) any service connected with the operation of any vessel belonging to any port authority;
( 2 ) any service connected with the loading , unloading , movement or storage of goods in any port ;
( 3 ) any transport service operated by any port authority for the carriage of passengers or goods by land or water .
