PUBLIC NOTICE
IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 28th June 1963
SUBJECT :-Export Promotion Scheme- Incentive against the exports of Tobacco under-
No. 70 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 . It has been decided that exporters of "Tobacco" will be eligible to obtain import licences for redrying machinery / equipment, tools , apparatus, spare parts/ components thereof upto 1 % of the f.o.b. value of tobacco exported and as certified by the Department of Technical Development .
2. Applications in the prescribed form and manner may be made to the licensing authorities at the ports concerned through the Tobacco Export Promotion Council, Madras . Import applications may be preferred on a monthly or quarterly basis .
3. The above arrangement will apply to exports of Tobacco made on or after 1st June 1963 and will continue until further orders .
