IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 11th July 1963
SUBJECT .- Import of Dates ( S. No. 21 ( b ) / IV ) from Muscat , Saudi Arabia and other Persian Gulf Ports excluding Iran and Iraq during March/ August , 1963 by salling vessels .
No. 76 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 -Attention of the importers is invited to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Public Notice No. 26 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 , dated 5th April 1963 wherein it was inter alia notifled that import of dates from the above countries would be allowed by sailing vessels .
It has now been decided that import of Dates from the above countries will be allowed by steamers as well upto 31st August 1963 .
Licences issued under the Public Notice quoted above will be automatically valid for this purpose .
