IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT : Cotton Textiles Export Incentive Scheme-Import entitlement against exports of non -fabrics items .
No. 79 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 .-Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 133 - ITC ( PN ) / 62 , dated the 5th October , 1962 on the subject mentioned above .
2 It has been decided that cotton thread and cotton sewing thread shall be treated with immediate effect as one of the non - fabrics items for the purpose of granting import entitlement under the Cotton Textiles Export Incentive Scheme .
SUBJECT :-Import licensing of Capital Goods / Heavy Electrical Plant during April 1963-March 1964 .
No. 80 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 . Attention of importers is invited to Ministry of Commerce and Industry Public Notice No. 50 - ITC ( PN ) / 62 dated 16th May , 1962 , regarding the procedure for submission of CG / HEP applications .
2. In modification of the provisions contained in para 2 of the above said Public Notice, it has now been decided that ( 1 ) applications for grant of CG/ HEP licences for values in excess of Rs . 20 lakhs for import from countries other than U.S.A. and Rupee Payment Area , ( ii ) applications for values in excess of Rs . 50 lakhs for import from U.S.A. and ( iii ) applications for values in excess of F's , 20.0 lakhs for import from Rupee Payment Area, should henceforth be submitted in the prescrib- ed form and manner to the Deputy Director , ( Co - ordination ) , Directorate General of Technical Development , Ministry of Economic & Defence Co- ordination , Udyog Bhavan , New Delhi .
