S.0 . 2438. In pursuance of the provisions of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected to fill the vacancy in the Council of States is published for general information : -

Election to fill casual vacancy
In pursuance of section 66 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , I declare thatthat Shrimati SHARDA DEVI , C / o . Shri B. D. Bhargava , Vivekanand Marg , Ashok Nagar (C Scheme ) , Jaipur has been duly elected by theby the elected members of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly to fill the seat in the Council of States rendered vacant by reason of the death of Shri Jai Narain Vyas .
