IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT :-Amendmentto Appendix 23 of the Red - Book for April 1963-March 1964 Import of graphite for manufacture of pencil leads , etc.
No. 108 - ITC ( PN ) /63.-Attention of the trade is invited to column 7 against item Nos . 10 and 11 of Part II , Annexure I of Appendix 23 to the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the year April 1963 -March 1964 , wherein it has been stated that licences for import of graphite will be issued only on production of a certificate from the Department of Atomic Energy , Bombay permitting import in each case .
2. On further examination , it has been decided that licences for import of commercial grade natural Graphite will be issued without production of certificate from the Department of Atomic Energy .
