SUBJECT : -Export Promotion Scheme for non - gold Jewellery---Sales to Foreign Tourists in India under-
No. 112 - ITC ( PN ) /63.-Attention of the Trade is invited to the Public Notice No. 57 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 , dated the 11th June , 1963 , notifying the Export Promotion Scheme for grant of import entitlements against sales of the following items to foreign tourists in India : -
1. drilled , bleached/unbleached , processed / unprocessed , or polished pearls (real or cultured ) ,
2. cut or polished diamonds,
3. cut or polished precious stones or semi - precious stones .
2. It has now been decided to extend the provisions of the above scheme to the item of non - gold jewellery introduced in Annexure J, Part II to Appendix 23 of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for April 1963 - March 1964 under the Public Notice No. 91 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 . dated the 27th July , 1963 The sales of non- gold jewellery to foreign tourists in India effected in accordance with the proce- dure outlined in the Public Notice No. 57 - ITC (PN ) / 63 , dated the 11th June 1963 would earn import entitlements as indicated in the Public Notice No. 91 - ITC ( PN ) / 63, dated the 27th July, 1963 .
3. The above amendment will take effect from the date of issue of this Public Notice and the sales of non - gold jewellery effected according to the prescribed procedure on or after the datdate of this Public Notice will be admissible for the incentives under the Scheme ,
SUBJECT : Import of machinery , components thereof , equipment . other commo- dities and raw materials from US.A. under AID Loan No. 082 .
No. 113 - ITC ( PN) /63.-Attention is invited to clause ( vi ) of the Appendix to the Ministry of Commerce & Industry Public Notice No. 62 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 , dated the 21st June . 1963 on the above subject . The Annexure V to the said Public Notice may be deemed to have been replaced with immediate effect , by the revised Annexure V ( enclosed herewith ) which contains an uptodate list of U.S. parties interested in the supply of items mentioned in Annexure IV of the said Public Notice ,
