PUBLIC NOTICE
IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 18th September 1963
SUBJECT :-Recognition of New Established Importers , and grant of quotas . Issue of licence .
No. 118 ITC ( PN ) /63.-Para 89 of Section I of the current Red Book on the Import Trade Control may be substituted by the following : ----
"89. It has been stated in para 75 above that a newly recognised established Importer wili be eligible for grant of licences from the date of the recognition only . It shall , however , be open to the port licensing authority in a case in which he is satisfled that the recognition has been delayed on account of circumstances beyond the control of the applicant, to grant licences for any period or periods intervening bet- ween the date of the application for recognition and date of the recognition.
The licensing authority may also grant, as a matter of relief only and not as of right , licences for any one period after the date of application pro- vided he is satisfied that the recognition is likely to be delayed on account of circumstances beyond the control of the applicant ."

CORRIGENDUM

SUBJECT : -Corrigendum to Public Notice No. 49 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 dated the 29th May , 1963 , regarding import of unmanufactured tobacco from U.S.A. under PL. 480 aid programme against PA . No. 39-94 and PA . No. 39-94 - OT .
Attention is invited to the Public Notice No. 49 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 dated the 29th May , 1963 , in which the word " Non " should be inserted before the words " U.S. Flag Vessels " in para 2 , sub - para ( if ) of Annexure III to the Public Notice .
