G.S.R. 1619.- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub- section (1) of section 40 of the Defence of India Act , 1962 ( 51 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powerswers conferred on the Central Government by rule 125B ( relating to special provisions for sugarcane ) of the DefenceDefence of India Rules , 1962 , shall also be exercised by the State Governments.
