NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th October 1963
S.O. 2859. In pursuance of clause ( a ) of article 84 of the Constitution , the Election Commission hereby authorizes as the person before whom a candidate for election to Parliament shall make and subscribe the oath or affirmation according to the form set out for the purpose in the Third Schedule to the Constitution-
(a) where the candidate is for election by a parliamentary constituency, the returning officer for that constituency ; and
(b ) where the candidate is for election to fill a seat or seats in the Council of States , the returning officer for that election .
