New Delhi, the 10th October, 1963
S.R.O. 7E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in order to avoid administrative difficulty, hereby extends the term of office of all the elected members of each of the Cantonment Board mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule hereto annexed upto 31st March, 1964 from the date mentioned in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof.
