NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 21st October 1963
S.O. 3054. The following Order made by the President on October 20 , 1963 , is published for gencral information: -
ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( 3 ) of article 77 of the Constitu- tion, the President hereby makes , with immediate effect , the following amendments in the Government of India ( Allocation of Business ) Rules , 1961 , namely:-
In the said Rules-
(A) in the First Schedule , for entry 9 , the following entry shall be substitu- ted , namely : -
" 9. Ministry of Industry " ;
(B) in the Second Schedule ,
(a) under the heading " Ministry of Finance " , and sub - heading " C. Depart- ment of Revenue " , after entry 11, the following entries shall be inserted , namely :-
" 12. Administration of the Companies Act .
13. Profession of Accountancy ( Chartered Accountants Act ) , Profession of Costs and Works Accountancy and Company Secretaryship .
14. Collection of Statistics relating to Companies .
15. Legislation of the Indian Partnership Act and the exercise of certain functions under Chapter VII of the Act in centrally administered areas . ( The administration of the Act vests in the State Govern- ments) .
16. Commission of Inquiry .
17. The responsibility of the Centre relating to matters concerning centrally administered areas in respect of items 12 to 15 above" ;
(b ) the existing entry 12 shall be renumbered as " 18 " ; and
(c) under the heading " Ministry of Industry" ,
( 1) Sub -heading " A. Department of Industry " , shall be omitted ; and (11 ) Sub -heading " B. Department of Company Law Administration" and entries 1, 2, 3 , 4 , 5 and 6 thereunder , shall be omitted.
