NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 30th October 1900
G.S.R. 1728. In exercise of the powers conferred by section & of the Cent graph Act , 1952 ( 37 of 1952 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the folleving rules further to amend the Cinematograph ( Censorship ) Rules , 1958 , namely:
1. These rules may be called the Cinematograph ( Censorship ) Third A ment Rules , 1963 ,
2. In the Cinematograph ( Censorship ) Rules , 1958 , for sub- rula (1) mie The following sub - rules shall be substituted, namely:-
" (2) Subject to the provisions of sub - rule ( 1 ) , the Chairman shall hold office for a period of three years and shall continue to hold office until his successor is appointed:
Provided that pending the appointment of his successor , the Central Govern- ment may appoint another person to act as Chairman for a period not exceeding six months .
(2A) Subject to the provisions of sub - rule ( 1) , every other markeratini hold office for a term of three years ."
